Federal Bid Protests

Under federal law, companies who bid for federal procurement contracts can protest the award of the contract to another bidder for a number of reasons, including a flawed process for reviewing and awarding the bid, flawed assumptions in the solicitation or bid package, or a failure to amend or revise the solicitation or bid package if the project or scope of work changes during the bid process.  Bid protests are time sensitive and protesters must carefully adhere to federal rules and regulations in filing and prosecuting a bid protest and must keep bidding information confidential.
