Alternative Dispute Resolution

Alternative Dispute Resolution ("ADR") is an alternative to the court system which offers clients an opportunity to resolve disputes quickly with reduced legal costs in a private forum. Typically, this takes the form of using no-biased third party "neutrals" that assist in resolving disputes, either through a negotiated settlement or through alternative forum. Our construction attorneys have significant experience not only advising clients regarding ADR, but also obtaining favorable outcomes through this process. We recognize that the time to address the use of ADR is through the contract formation process, and our lawyers draft ADR clauses to suit our clients' anticipated need.

We are well experienced in several of the ADR processes and have resolved numerous disputes to the benefit of our clients through:

  • Mediation
  • Arbitration
  • Med-Arb
  • Mini-trials
  • Dispute Review Boards
  • Court Supervised Dispute Evaluation

Several of our attorneys also act as neutral arbitrators and mediators.
