Ryan Lorch is an attorney at Berg Hill Greenleaf & Ruscitti LLP. His emphasis is on litigation and appellate practice.
A recent graduate of the University of Colorado Law School, Ryan was a decorated moot court advocate and a successful student attorney for the Colorado Civil Practice Clinic. Ryan graduated from the University of Colorado Law School with the Health Law and Policy Certificate which required him to focus on health law related courses and externships.
As a student attorney, Ryan represented numerous family law clients through contested divorces, succeeded in obtaining his client disability benefits, and assisted in the granting of asylum for a political refugee. Ryan competed in multiple moot court competitions including the National Health Law Moot Court Competition and the CU Rothgerber Moot Court Competition where Ryan and his partner won best team overall. During law school, Ryan interned for the Broomfield Combined District Court where he assisted in the drafting of temporary and permanent orders for a domestic and civil docket.
Prior to attending law school, Ryan graduated from the University of Michigan with a major in Political Science and a minor in Asian Studies. During his undergraduate career, Ryan was a law clerk for the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office in Detroit Michigan. At the Prosecutor’s Office, Ryan worked in the extradition’s department assisting attorneys in the extradition of defendants from locations across the country.
Ryan began working as a law clerk in May of 2016. As a law clerk, he was exposed to numerous different practice areas including commercial, construction, and criminal litigation. Since joining the firm, Ryan has assisted in the researching and drafting of criminal and civil appellate briefs before the Colorado Court of Appeals and Colorado Supreme Court.
Ryan lives in Louisville with his fiancé and Zag, their dog. He enjoys cooking, skiing, hiking, and supporting the Michigan Wolverines, Go Blue!
