BHGR Successfully Defends Routt County in Construction Dispute

After a two week trial, on December 13, 2010, a jury found that BHGR's client, Routt County, Colorado, had no liability on $1.4 million in claims for extra payment by a contractor that did improvements to the County's Steamboat Springs area airport.  BHGR's trial team of Dan Gross, Jason Pink, Heidi Potter and Angela Johnson mounted a vigorous defense of the County, including successfully knocking out several of the plaintiff's claims on motions for directed verdict.  The jury's verdict was that none of the contractor's claims had merit.  The County will be seeking its costs of court as permitted by Colorado law.
