Berg Hill Greenleaf & Ruscitti LLP was pleased to sponsor BizWest’s annual CEO Economic Roundtable on February 8th. Each month, BizWest assists in organizing CEO Roundtables in partnership with BHGR and EKS&H, an audit, tax, and consulting firm. The primary focus for this month’s Roundtable event explored economic trends in a range of industries.
Economist Rich Wobbekind, in attendance at the roundtable, cited a “groundswell of business optimism” in the Boulder area, saying Colorado is projected to be among the top five in state economies. Participants discussed a range of topics, including rapid growth in the tech industry, the rising cost of housing, and the health of the retail business market. Robert Vissers, CEO of Boulder Community Health, cited concerns with the state of Colorado’s healthcare industry under the new administration. “There’s a lot of wait-and-see,” Vissers said.
Attendees included BHGR Partners Jared Crain and Peter Schaub, as well as representatives from Flatiron Crossing, Twenty Ninth Street Mall, the Longmont Chamber of Commerce, Boulder Chamber of Commerce, Boulder Community Health, and CU’s Leeds School of Business.
