Experience

Asimakis "Maki" Iatridis has broad experience in environmental law, natural resources, and litigation. He practices extensively in environmental law, health and safety law, natural resources development, oil and gas law, toxic torts and civil litigation.  He has represented manufacturers, universities, mining companies, oil and gas developers, financial institutions, other commercial enterprises, governmental entities, and individuals. Maki's practice includes Superfund, hazardous and solid waste, remediation, voluntary cleanups, brownfields redevelopment, radiation control, NEPA (Environmental Impact Statements), endangered species, air quality, climate change, water quality, wetlands, environmental crimes defense, toxic torts, permitting, insurance procurement and claims, facility siting, toxic substances, PCB's, asbestos, mold, operational compliance, oil and gas, worker safety, petroleum storage tanks, public lands, land use, self-audits, compliance, contracts, insurance procurement, and real estate and corporate transactions.

Complementing his practice, Maki taught environmental law at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law as an adjunct professor. Maki also taught environmental law and remediation courses at Colorado School of Mines as an adjunct professor. He also lectures frequently. Maki has earned an AV rating from the Martindale-Hubbell peer review ratings system.
