Jeff Van der Veer joined BHGR as an associate after graduating from the University of Colorado Law School in 2011. He focuses his practice on commercial and civil litigation. While in law school, Jeff was an associate editor of the University of Colorado Law Review, and also served as a guardian ad litem in dependency and neglect proceedings while working as a student attorney in the Juvenile Law Clinic. He interned at the United States Attorney’s office in Denver after his first year of law school, focusing on federal appeals.
Prior to law school, he worked as a litigation legal assistant at Arnold & Porter LLP in Washington, DC, and as a corporate transactional legal assistant at White & Case LLP in New York. Jeff received his undergraduate degree from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts, where he studied English and quantitative economics.
