On December 20, 2007, the United States Department of Interior Board of Land Appeals reversed the Bureau of Land Management’s sale of competitive sale of certain oil and gas leases within the White River National Forest for violations of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the Endangered Species Act (ESA). IBLA 2005-9, 2005-10. BHGR represented one of the appellants in the case. Decision.
